Zoo trained animals will never survive out in the jungle. It's a jungle out there...there are new species that are waiting to be found. So are we going to embrace the messiness of the movement or are we too stuck in our ways to allow the carpet to get dirty.

A Christian calling out a sinner is like a drunk telling an alcoholic to get sober.

all this time we have been taught Jesus occasionally went away to pray and to be with our Father

he really just got some bad stuff at the potluck

and frequently just needed to get away from the likes of us

Yep. I know this stench. I've smelled it and wondered where it was coming from...and was shocked to find it was me!

I'm learning to love the unlovely.
It just so happens, it's me.

I'm so thankful He opens our eyes, forgives our sins, cleans us up, applies Deodorant (that would be the Holy Spirit within, I'm thinking...), and we become a fragrant gift...

Thank you for speaking the Truth with boldness. It's hard to read sometimes, but necessary.

Thanks, M*. :)

Jessica: there are definately some cool people out there. :) a lot of them don't go to an actual church anymore, so they're harder to find.

Oh no. This is hitting home for me. I fully agree that there's way too much of that in the world. Keeping our distance from those who 'aren't members' but proclaiming that we love our neighbors...yuck! Can't take it anymore, the jig is up, I'm moving on.

In moving on I've found the world to be full of amazing Christ following women who deserve his grace and mercy just as much as (if not more) than those proclaiming to have the 'whole truth'.

I (of course) am guilty as the rest and am trying my best to escape the ignorance and show compassion from here on out.
