I casually opened up my Bible several weeks ago and read where it fell open: chapters 2-5 of Galations in the Amplified version. Let me tell ya, those verses rocked. my. world. It was such a confirmation from God that I'm on the right track. So exciting! Your blog is incredibly encouraging to me. You've lived through this mess as a sheep, I've lived this as a wolf. WHY we do or do not do. The world works on a motivation of fear, and when the church follows suit, we lose everything. Following in the way of Jesus means that what we do is motivated by love not fear. Not cheating on a spouse is right, but not nearly enough... Christ calls us to be transformed to not want to cheat. Not cheating for fear is missing the point, AND missing all that intimacy offers. Ah, the workings of our God, and the way He lays ideas on our hearts at the same time when we listen. I am so thankful that I am not required to sign a paper that lays down a list of what I will and will not do. Thankful for a God who's Grace is sufficient.
