The problem is the arrogance of Christians- who act like they have exclusive rights to that truth. Is it more important to be "right" in a meaningless theological debate or to share Good News to bad people? Like Yancy said, "The Gospel is only good news to bad people.". And I think we lose sight of that aspect of Truth when we start discussing who is right and who is wrong and who knows the Truth and who doesn't. The problem is never the Truth.

You are so my new hero. I have been thinking over and over how to tell you how much my brain has been working over time after reading your book. And it really was just a fluke coming across your blog, really liking your writing, being compelled by your story and thinking "oh, there's a book, too!" Ha! I bought it that day. Our life stories are so different. But, I think, more than anything, it's me, for the first time in a while, being so hungry for Truth, in any form, that I will gobble it up. Thank you for that. Everyone has an unbrella (the sacrifice of Christ) but only the ones who open the umbrella and hold it over there heads will stay dry.
